Red Wing - 8060 Pecos in Hawthorne Muleskinner Leather

First made for cowboys in 1958, the Pecos boot quickly became a popular choice outside the world of ranching. Reintroduced in Hawthorne Muleskinner roughout leather, this 11-inch pull-on boot honours its origins with a durable Brown Chemigum outsole, premium leather comfort pad for extra cushioning, and rugged Goodyear leather welt construction.

Born on the ranch, built for the trades. Introduced in 1953, the Pecos began as a roper-style cowboy boot, defined by its almond toe and low heel. This version is true to that heritage, sticking with the original No. 17 last, honoring the form that made it timeless.

As per Red Wing’s recommendation, we suggest you choose a half to a whole EU or US size smaller (depending on if you have a wider or more narrow foot), than usually worn in other brands of shoes. This is due to the fact that the leather of their shoes will stretch and soften within the first weeks of wear due to bodyweight, sweat, and warmth. In addition, you will create your own footbed by wearing the shoe.
