Every pair of Red Wing Heritage footwear is crafted with S.B. Foot Tanning Company leather. Red Wing’s product team works closely with S.B. Foot employees to create and test different colorways and textures. The natural by-product from the food industry, the leather is crafted with over a century of knowledge to make a premium, longstanding product that ages with grace.

As per Red Wing’s recommendation, we suggest you choose a half to a whole EU or US size smaller (depending on if you have a wider or more narrow foot), than usually worn in other brands of shoes. This is due to the fact that the leather of their shoes will stretch and soften within the first weeks of wear due to bodyweight, sweat, and warmth. In addition, you will create your own footbed by wearing the shoe.
